1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how the individual developer Yamamoto Kanta (the “Operator”) handles information in the iOS app “Planetarium Puzzle” (the “App”) and its contact function.
2. Information collected
If you voluntarily use the contact function, the Operator collects: the inquiry category and message; a reply email address, if supplied; App version and build number; iOS version; selected App language; an anonymous installation identifier for abuse prevention; and network information for abuse prevention.
3. Information not collected
The App has no user account or login function. It does not obtain your current location by GPS or other means; you select Tokyo or Sydney as the observation location. The App has no advertisements and does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, cookies, or user tracking. The Operator does not obtain or store credit card information used for in-app purchases.
4. Purposes of use
Inquiry information is used to review, investigate, and answer inquiries; identify defects and improve service quality; rate-limit submissions and detect or prevent spam and other misuse; and respond as required under this Policy or applicable law. A reply email address is used only to respond to and communicate about the inquiry.
5. Retention and HMAC hashing
Inquiry data is generally deleted 180 days after submission. It may be kept longer where reasonably necessary for an ongoing inquiry, a dispute, a legal obligation, or another legitimate reason.
The anonymous installation identifier and network information are HMAC-hashed on the server. Their original values are not stored in the database; the resulting hashes are used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
6. Supabase storage and international transfers
Supabase is used to store inquiry data. Depending on its data location and processing arrangements, information may be stored or processed outside your country or region. The Operator will take measures required by applicable law, considering the destination’s legal system and the processor’s practices.
7. In-app purchases processed by Apple
Premium purchases are processed through Apple’s StoreKit and App Store. Apple’s terms and systems govern purchases, refunds, and restoration, and Apple’s Privacy Policy governs Apple’s handling of information. The Operator does not obtain or store the credit card information used for payment.
8. Disclosure, processors, and legal requests
The Operator does not disclose collected information to third parties without consent, except as permitted by law. Supabase processes and stores inquiry data on the Operator’s behalf. Apple independently processes in-app purchases. Each provider’s terms and privacy policy apply to its services. The Operator may disclose information as necessary in response to a lawful request from a court, law-enforcement body, or other authorized public authority.
9. Security measures
Inquiry data is transmitted over HTTPS. The Operator also applies measures appropriate to the information handled, including access controls, retention settings, and HMAC hashing of the anonymous installation identifier and network information. Absolute security of internet transmission or electronic storage cannot be guaranteed.
10. Access, correction, and deletion requests
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, suspension of use of, or deletion of your information by contacting the Operator below. Information reasonably necessary to verify identity may be requested. A request may not be fulfilled where retention is legally required, identity cannot be verified, or another legitimate operational reason applies. Where legally possible, the reason will be explained.
11. Children and minors
Minors should use the App and contact function with parental or guardian consent or involvement where appropriate. Do not include unnecessary personal information such as a name, address, or school name in an inquiry. A parent or guardian who learns that a child submitted information may contact the Operator below.
12. Changes and contact
The Operator may revise this Policy when App functions, service providers, or laws change. Material changes will be announced by a reasonable method in the App or on this website. The revised Policy applies from the last-updated date shown on this page.
